For additional information about a dog or cat adoption, please call the administrative office at at (215) 945-2160.We ask for a donation to adopt a cat or dog. All of our dogs or cats are altered unless they are not old enough to have undergone the surgery yet. We will require you to bring a young animal in to be fixed when they are of an age to do so. If an animal is especially large or has special pre-adoption needs, we may require a larger donation due to the costs that we may have incurred while the animal was in our care.
How do I become a foster parent?
As a foster parent for HFA, you can literally save a dog or cat's life by giving it a loving temporary home. You provide the haven; HFA covers the cost for food and veterinary care. For more information about becoming a volunteer foster parent, please contact our administrative office at (215) 945-2160.
